The Expat Expo is an exhibition held every November and is exclusively for international residents in Japan. The aim is to connect local businesses and services to the expat community, and help the expats discover which businesses are English and foreigner friendly.
You will find stalls from a wide array of businesses at the Expo – tourism destinations, translation services, international schools and Japanese language schools, realtors, arts and crafts associations and more. This year has tripled in size compared to last year, there will be three floors of stalls at the venue, as well as a large stage for presentations and performances.
For the first time, Omakase Helper will be running a stall. Come and find us on the 2nd floor to get special discounts for our translation and interpretation services and win some cool prizes!
There will be lots of other things going on – check out some cool stage performances like the samurai show and kimono experience. You can try on your very own kimono, learn to play the traditional shamisen or try sake tasting. Each stall will also have special offers on their various products and services. The event is family friendly and kids are welcome. In general, the Friday is for networking and businesspeople, while the Saturday is for general residents and families.
We hope to see you there!
